An Artilleryman provides fire support to units using artillery systems

Responsibilities

• preparing artillery guns or self-propelled artillery for firing

• targeting and adjusting fire

• maintaining and servicing artillery weapons

• following orders from the battery commander

Requirements

• understanding the basics of ballistics

• ability to work with equipment and targeting instruments

• physical endurance

• attention to detail and quick decision-making

• basic technical literacy
