Ukrainian President proves russians lied about capture of Kupyansk
The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully counterattacked the russian invaders in the area of the city of Kupyansk. They liberated part of the city and two nearby villages from the occupiers, and surrounded several hundred russian soldiers in one of the neighborhoods. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky came to Kupyansk to thank the soldiers and filmed a video at the entrance to the city, just over a kilometer from the front line.
This happened less than a month after russian General Kuzovlev reported to his boss Putin that russian troops had captured Kupyansk. putin specifically asked if his soldiers had completely captured the city and soon even awarded the general.
In return, the Ukrainian military claimed that the russians were wishing for it. As a result, Kupyansk became a trap for several hundred russians. Unlike Zelensky, putin did not dare to come to the supposedly captured city. Ukrainian soldiers demonstrate a high level of courage and professionalism in defending their homeland and call on foreign volunteers to join their ranks.
