4th International Legion
4th International Legion of Defense of Ukraine – a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where foreigners with combat experience gained in the combat zone in Ukraine serve. The unit is engaged in performing various tasks, in particular, training foreign volunteers who want to join the Defense Forces of Ukraine, but do not have experience of military service.
Signing a military contract, receiving uniforms and equipment, completing the basic course of a serviceman and passing final exams takes place in the unit. In the future, the choice of a military combat unit for service, according to the contract.
The unit uses three languages – English, Ukrainian, Spanish. All instructors have experience of military service and combat experience gained in Ukraine. The Legion trains recruits, as well as volunteers with experience of military service in their country, for better adaptation to modern combat conditions and expansion of basic knowledge.
Medical instructor
500 - 750 USD per month
Official service in the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Responsibilities
• providing first aid in case of illness, injury, trauma, poisoning
• participation in conducting medical examinations of personnel of battalion units
• participation in performing tasks to evacuate the wounded
• fulfillment of medical prescriptions
• conducting training for combat medics
Requirements
• language of communication - Spanish or English
• secondary, specialized medical secondary or higher education
• suitability for military service in terms of health condition
• absence of alcohol or drug addiction
• experience in military service will be an advantage
Terms
• signing of an official contract for 3 years (can be terminated after 6 months), probationary period of 2 months.
• food, special clothing and equipment, accommodation, medical and social security at the expense of the state.
• financial compensation in case of injury
• annual basic leave of 30 days and additional leave for family reasons
Instructor
500 - 750 USD per month
Official service in the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Responsibilities
• conducting practical classes with students at a high theoretical and methodological level
• continuous improvement of their special and methodological skills
• maintaining the established educational and material base and training places in constant readiness for conducting classes
• updating the current samples of the material and technical base of courses (classes) in accordance with the current development of trends in conducting military operations
• studying and implementing best practices in conducting classes, making proposals for improving the forms and methods of training and the material and technical base
• observing pedagogical ethics and morality, respect for military specialists, promoting their cultural and physical development
• studying and actively implementing into the process of training and educating students the experience gained during combat operations (studying analyses of the conduct of combat operations of other units of the Defense Forces), advanced pedagogical experience
• performing educational and methodological work at a high professional level, ensuring high efficiency of the pedagogical process
• objective assessment of the knowledge and skills of personnel students, promoting the development of their independence, intelligent initiative, and creative abilities in the process of mastering academic disciplines
• active participation in improving the educational and material base of the unit and inventive and rationalizing work
Requirements
• language of communication - Spanish or English
• knowledge of basic military disciplines, safety when handling weapons, techniques and shooting techniques
• real combat experience is required
• communication skills, ability to clearly convey information and train others
• absence of alcohol or drug addiction
• experience in military service is required
• having an instructor certificate will be an advantage
