Ground robotic complexes are playing an increasingly important role - both on the battlefield and in logistics and evacuation from the combat zone. Ukraine is developing this new weapon at a rapid pace. And the advantage in ground drones, among other things, allows Ukrainian soldiers to deter a more numerous enemy.

And the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex offers the Defense Forces of Ukraine all new models of ground drones for various purposes. The other day, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine allowed new models of ground drones to be put into operation.

In particular, this is the Zmiy strike and reconnaissance ground robotic complex, which is designed to perform a wide range of tasks in conditions of high-intensity combat operations. Armed with a large-caliber machine gun, the ground drone has high cross-country ability, can overcome difficult off-road conditions, sand, snow, and shallow water obstacles. The platform body is armored, has protection against anti-personnel mines and can withstand hits from several FPV drones.

Somewhat earlier, Ukrainian manufacturers successfully completed work on the Droid NW 40 ground robotic complex and presented it to the military department. Droid NW 40 is a reconnaissance and strike ground robotic complex armed with an automatic grenade launcher and a set of 48 grenades. It is capable of effectively hitting lightly armored targets and enemy manpower at a distance of up to 1.5 km. The mobility of the complex allows it to cover up to 50 km on paved roads and up to 40 km off-road on a single battery charge. The duration of movement without interruption reaches 12 hours, and autonomous work without movement can last up to 120 hours.

This is also a heavy ground robotic complex "T-700 Browning" designed to perform fire missions in a combat zone, and can also be used for logistics. It has double armor and is armed with two machine guns, one of which is large-caliber and can effectively hit enemy targets at a distance of up to 1 kilometer. The range of this robotic vehicle is up to 70 km, the maximum payload is 700 kg.

Also, these days, Ukrainian manufacturers announced the development of a new ground robotic complex armed with a small-caliber cannon. In fact, we are talking about a ground drone that will be a light tank! The new system will be designed to perform assault missions and cover infantry on the front line. It will be able to effectively fight at a distance of up to 4-5 kilometers.

In addition, the production of improved models of evacuation ground drones is being launched. After successful testing in the combat zone, “Maul” ground evacuation drones were launched into serial production. In the combat zone, the drone was hit by an anti-personnel mine and a drone, but continued to move, and thanks to the armored capsule, the wounded man did not suffer new injuries.
