Service in military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Responsibilities

  • • using the machine gun to suppress enemy firing points, destroy personnel, and provide fire support for the advance of your unit
  • • providing constant and effective fire cover for the actions of rifle teams, snipers, as well as during maneuvers, withdrawal, or fortification
  • • constantly monitoring the battlefield, identifying enemy positions and targets, and reporting them to the commander
  • • quickly and correctly selecting a firing position, setting it up (digging in), determining sectors of fire, preparing a range card (for long-term positions)
  • • following orders: clearly executing the orders and instructions of commanders regarding fire, movement, and interaction with other soldiers
  • • regularly inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and fixing minor malfunctions of the machine gun (for example, firing delays)
  • • checking the availability and quality of ammunition, the loading of belts, ensuring the serviceability of all weapon mechanisms before going on a mission

Requirements

  • • language of communication – Spanish or English
  • • fitness for military service in terms of health
  • • military training or relevant service experience will be an advantage
  • • knowledge of combat tactics and machine gun operation will be an advantage
  • • high physical fitness and endurance
  • • ability to work in a team, discipline, and readiness to carry out tasks in high-risk conditions
  • • readiness for long-term field deployments
  • • readiness to work in a combat zone
  • • absence of alcohol or drug addiction

Conditions

  • • 500 USD for the training period, 1,100 – 2,800 USD for carrying out tasks and orders (depending on the place of deployment), + 1,670 USD additionally for every 30 days on the front line
  • • signing an official 3-year contract (termination possible after 6 months), 2-month probationary period.
  • • one month of special training and exercises with professional instructors.
  • • meals, special clothing and equipment, accommodation, medical and social support at the expense of the state.
  • • financial compensation in case of injury
  • • annual basic leave of 30 days
