413th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Raid"

A high-tech unit of the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine, established in August 2024.

The regiment operates some of the most advanced drones across all categories, including FPV drones, heavy bombers, reconnaissance fixed-wing UAVs, and middle- and deep-strike unmanned aerial systems. Its inventory includes the Leleka, Bulava, Shark, Hornet, FP-1, and FP-2 platforms.

"Raid" conducts combat operations along the front line, deep within the enemy's operational rear, and strikes military targets inside the Russian Federation at distances exceeding 1,000 kilometers. We destroy enemy infantry, ammunition depots, command posts, air defense systems, and armored vehicles. We also strike strategic oil refineries and ammunition arsenals while supporting missile and air strikes through reconnaissance and target acquisition.

One specialized unit within the regiment is dedicated to intercepting Shahed-type attack drones. Another specializes in countering Russian unmanned aerial systems using electronic warfare (EW) capabilities.

The enemy has suffered more than USD 5 billion in losses as a result of our crews' operations.

A distinctive feature of "Raid" is its role in combat testing new Ukrainian and foreign unmanned systems that are being considered for service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our specialists evaluate their combat effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for further development.

The regiment's highly motivated personnel and advanced technical capabilities enable it to successfully accomplish missions in some of the most challenging sectors of the front. In particular, "Raid" crews played a key role in supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine's counteroffensive in Russia's Kursk region in 2024.

The "Raid" Regiment recruits foreign nationals who speak English or Spanish. Our ranks already include volunteers from Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
