Ukraine creates new opportunities for foreign volunteers

Foreign volunteers serving in the Ukrainian Defense Forces will receive temporary residency benefits and will have a series of social guarantees and expanded access to medical care. The President of Ukraine sanctioned the proposed law on February 9.

Until now, the only document a foreign volunteer in Ukraine had was a military identity card. However, some administrative companies required a residence permit. Now, foreigners who have a signed contract with the Ukrainian Defense Forces will receive a residence permit for the entire period of service and for three months after its termination or rescission of the contract. The process of issuing documents for their family members is also simplified.

With this benefit, foreigners will be covered by the same guarantees regarding medical care as Ukrainian citizens.

The law, which will come into effect in three months, is designed to ensure equal and fair conditions of service for all military personnel, regardless of citizenship. And in the future, the law is designed to better integrate those foreign volunteers who defended Ukraine from Russian aggression with weapons in their hands and decided to stay here.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published an explanation of the algorithm for obtaining combatant status for foreign volunteers (UBD). https://mod.gov.ua/en/news/combatant-status-for-foreign-nationals-rights-and-granting-procedure

Foreigners who stood shoulder to shoulder with Ukrainians in the ranks of the Defense Forces have the same rights to recognition of their merits as citizens of Ukraine. If a foreigner is serving under a contract in the Defense Forces of Ukraine and took direct part in hostilities, he/she has the full right to combatant status and appropriate social guarantees.

The same procedures apply to foreign military personnel as to citizens of Ukraine. The main condition is the availability of documents confirming the fact of performing combat missions. Your service and combat experience are the only criteria for granting status.

Currently, there are two ways to register a UBD: automatically or through a special commission. In the first case, an authorized person of the military unit enters data on the performance of combat missions into the Unified State Register of War Veterans within 5 days after the start of the task. The status is granted automatically.

If it is impossible to grant status automatically, the commander of the military unit submits a package of necessary documents for consideration by the Interdepartmental Commission (through the Ministry of Veterans), which considers the documents within 30 days and makes an appropriate decision. A foreigner also has the right to independently collect documents and send them to the Interdepartmental Commission - through the Ministry of Veterans or through the Center for the Provision of Administrative Services.

If documents are submitted for consideration by the Interdepartmental Commission by a military unit, the package must include:

• a copy of the passport with a translation into Ukrainian;

• a copy of the document certifying registration in the State Register of Individuals - Taxpayers;

• certificate (original) of form No. 6 according to (document confirming stay in the combat zone).

If the documents are submitted independently, an extract from the information and analytical system “Record of information on bringing a person to criminal liability and the presence of a criminal record” is attached to the package.

If you submit documents independently and add materials in a foreign language (for example, personal documents), they must have a certified translation into Ukrainian. It is important that the transliteration of the name and surname in military documents corresponds to your passport (or its official translation).

Obtaining the status of a combat participant is a good reason for further processing a permit for immigration to Ukraine or acquiring Ukrainian citizenship under a simplified procedure after the contract is completed, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasizes.

The russian invaders are paralyzed on the front due to the shutdown of unregistered Starlink satellite communication terminals. As a result, the occupying russian troops have actually lost communication. Judging by the reports of russian soldiers and commanders, they are not even having a problem on the fronts, but a caos: all troop control has collapsed, assault operations have been stopped in many areas.

This happened after the new Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov called on the head of SpaceX Elon Musk at the end of January to make it impossible for the russians to use Starlink. As a result, the company took measures that turned out to be quite effective.

Ukrainians hit the training ground from which putin scared Europe

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have launched a series of successful strikes on the infrastructure of the russian Kapustin Yar missile training ground. Several hangars where pre-launch preparation of intercontinental ballistic missiles was carried out, and other buildings were hit. As a result, the russians had to evacuate a significant part of the personnel from the range. The strikes were carried out by Ukrainian-made strike weapons, in particular, Ukrainian long-range missiles FP-5 "Flamingo".

"Kapustin Yar" is one of the leading russian missile ranges, created back in the days of the USSR. Last year, it became famous for the fact that launches of russian medium-range ballistic missiles "Oreshnik" took place from here. Thus, the russian ruler putin tried to intimidate not only Ukrainians, but also European countries that help Ukraine resist russian aggression. They say, "Oreshnik" turns everything to ashes. But, as we see, the Ukrainians have something to answer to russian intimidation.

Great honor to be with Ukrainians – NATO Secretary General in Kyiv

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization will fully support Ukraine, both during the war and after the signing of a peace agreement. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated this during a visit to the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. After all, Ukraine's security is important for the security of all of Europe.

The NATO Secretary General expressed solidarity with the Ukrainians who are fighting the russian invasion.

"It is a great honor to be with you today! The Ukrainian nation is fighting with great determination and courage!", said Rutte, speaking in the Ukrainian parliament.

He emphasized that NATO will continue training Ukrainian troops and providing weapons. Member countries of the Alliance will steadily fund the program to purchase American weapons for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. For 2026, a budget of US $15 billion in aid is estimated.

"We are learning from you. You are constantly applying innovations. For the benefit of this cooperation with NATO," Rutte noted.

He witnessed the destruction by russian missiles of a Ukrainian thermal power plant. The fact that russia is attacking the infrastructure of Ukrainian cities and civilians during the harsh winter demonstrates its unwillingness to seriously engage in peace talks and shows its inability to fight on the battlefield.

Ukrainian soldiers are courageously and skillfully defending their homeland and are calling on foreign volunteers to join their ranks in the fight for freedom.

Achievements and innovations of Ukrainian gunsmiths

At the same time, it is worth noting that Ukraine is increasing the production of defense products and is becoming less dependent on imports. According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in 2025, the share of weapons, equipment and ammunition contracted for the Ukrainian troops from Ukrainian manufacturers increased from 46% to 82% compared to the previous year.

This year, the army will receive new models of highly effective weapons. In particular, the Defense Forces of Ukraine recently began receiving an improved version of the fiber-optic strike drone "Baton Optik" with a range of over 30 km. This exceeds the capabilities of similar copters. Thanks to this, it is effective against enemy artillery, as well as against lightly armored vehicles and field fortifications.

Fiber-optic control and video transmission channels are fully protected from the effects of enemy electronic warfare. Equipped with efficient electric motors and capacious batteries, the drone "Baton Optik" of the updated version can operate effectively day, night and in poor visibility conditions.

The russian soldiers die for the sake of false propaganda

After the defeat of russian troops in the city of Kupyansk, the russian chief of staff, general gerasimov, announced that russian soldiers had captured the neighboring city of Kupyansk-Vuzlovy. However, without proof of the city's capture, this generated yet another false statement.

To try to prove the false propaganda, the russians sent a reconnaissance group to the city to raise flags and obtain some photos and videos as proof. But the Ukrainian soldiers defended the position. According to the commander of the Ukrainian battalion defending the city of Kupyansk-Vuzlovy, the Russian aggressors were killed; they were part of the 153rd russian Tank Regiment. And although they tried to enter the city without their tanks, their flags still became Ukrainian trophies.

The result was not as expected by the russian propagandists. Don't be fooled by the lies spread by russian propaganda.

Ukraine has become a world leader in the production and effective use of ground robotic complexes on the battlefield. It has achieved unprecedented success in this area. The leading American business magazine Forbes writes about this in an article with the telling title “Rise of the robots: Russian soldiers surrender to Ukrainian machines”.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidhambling/2026/01/27/rise-of-the-robots-russian-soldiers-surrender-to-ukrainian-machine/ The article begins with a stunning episode of Russian soldiers surrendering to a Ukrainian ground drone armed with a machine gun. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UpxGr32hMmM

In the Ukrainian army, robots are already indispensable both for replenishing supplies on the front line and for evacuating the wounded. Recently, they have been increasingly used in both offensive and defensive combat operations. Now they are increasingly visible and effective directly on the battlefield. The Ukrainian military is also successfully using a combination of drones and combat robotic vehicles.

The production of ground robotic complexes for various purposes in Ukraine has rapidly scaled up. From several hundred in 2024, to thousands in 2025, and this year it is planned to send more than 20,000 ground robotic complexes to the troops. At least 200 different models from about 40 Ukrainian manufacturers are used. At the same time, if at first these were imported machines, then by the end of 2025 99% were made in Ukraine.

The rapid progress of the industry is primarily due to effective and close cooperation between manufacturers and the military on the front line. Engineers create machines that exactly meet the requirements of the unit they work with, and feedback received during combat operations is taken into account during improvement, which usually lasts several weeks. Robots are relatively easy to assemble from readily available components and are relatively cheap compared to armored vehicles.

Ukraine’s success in the production and use of ground combat vehicles is all the more astonishing when you consider that richer and more technically advanced countries cannot boast of anything like this. For example, the US military has much larger budgets, a more powerful technological base, and they began working on the creation of military robotic vehicles back in 1985. But the combat robotic complexes they developed were never used. In 2019, the Americans launched a new program to create combat robotic vehicles, but in 2025 they curtailed it, probably due to high costs and unobvious results.

In fact, decades of research and development have led to nothing! It’s completely different in Ukraine – a short process and an obvious result. In the fall of 2024, the first video of a Ukrainian robotic combat vehicle in action appeared, and since then, there has been more and more evidence of their successful use.

Some commentators say that robots will never replace the infantryman. But still, their role on the battlefield is becoming increasingly important. Ukrainian robotic combat vehicles not only attack and hold the defense, but also affect the morale of the enemy. When your side suffers losses, and your opponent fights remotely and does not shed blood, the fight can seem futile. Especially when there is the possibility of safe and easy surrender.

Clashes between robotic combat vehicles and aerial drones are just beginning, and it is impossible to predict how this type of war will evolve. How robot-to-robot combat technologies develop will likely become a major factor in shaping future wars, Forbes suggests.

Indeed, war is evolving rapidly. But it is now obvious that Ukrainian ground robotic systems do not have a worthy counterpart on the battlefield.

Invaders by russian are paying a high price for their bizarre desire to seize Ukrainian land. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in 2025 the russians lost:

– 418,170 killed and wounded soldiers,

– 1,816 tanks,

– 3,806 armored combat vehicles,

– 14,146 artillery systems,

– 331 multiple launch rocket systems,

– 234 air defense systems,

– 65 aircraft,

– 17 helicopters,

– 1 submarine

– 40,106 vehicles and special equipment.

It is noteworthy that last year, more than 80% of enemy targets were hit by Ukrainian warplanes using drones. Moreover, as the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized, in an absolute situation, the enemy were Ukrainian-made drones.

A significant part of the russian aviation – 12 aircraft and 3 helicopters – was destroyed by the Security Service of Ukraine. As we can see, the Ukrainian special service is able not only to detect and neutralize enemy agents on its territory, but also to detect and destroy enemy aircraft in their bases using drones.

“Surprise” for the invaders

However, despite huge losses, the russian invaders continue to maintain a numerical advantage, which allows them to attack. This is not surprising, because russia is much larger than Ukraine and has a greater mobilization resource. And the russian ruler putin does not show much interest in concluding a peace agreement.

In view of this, President Zelensky set the task for the Defense Forces of Ukraine: to ensure such a level of losses of the occupiers that they exceed enemy replenishments. Optimally, it should be 50 thousand killed and wounded enemies per month.

“This is certainly a difficult task, but nevertheless, it is important for russia to start considering what they are doing and what they are fighting for,” the President of Ukraine said.

Last year, russia’s average monthly losses amounted to approximately 35 thousand killed and wounded.

If drones attack…

Ukraine is not only developing drone production and training top-class operators, but also improving the means and techniques of countering enemy drones. After all, the russians also understand the effectiveness of this type of weapon and actively use it.

At the Land Forces Academy, future Ukrainian officers, among other things, learn to detect, classify and neutralize drones. They take a special course where they are taught to determine the optimal way to neutralize the drone threat, the features of controlling units when countering drones, and undergo training with anti-drone towels and other means of electronic warfare. Not only future officers, but also all new recruits of the Ukrainian army undergo training in countering drones.

Ukraine is also improving protection against russian long-range Shaheds and other strike drones everywhere.

The city that became a trap for the enemy

Ukrainian troops continue to clear the city of Kupyansk from the encircled group of russian troops. During reconnaissance of the central part of the city, fighters of the 8th Special Operations Regiment discovered a group of russian soldiers who had set up positions in a dilapidated supermarket and a neighboring house. As a result of an attack unexpected for the enemy, Ukrainian special forces eliminated this position, and its garrison was destroyed or captured. Thanks to this successful work of the special forces group, neighboring Ukrainian units also moved forward.

Somewhat earlier, fighters of the National Guard from the Khartiia unit cleared the Kupyansk city hall building of russians and raised the Ukrainian flag over it.

The russian command is making attempts to break through the encirclement ring, but all these attempts are unsuccessful. Let us recall that the russian ruler putin has been repeatedly reported that Kupyansk is completely under russian control. But as a result, the Ukrainian president came to the city, and for the russians it became a trap.

A Ukrainian robot captured russian soldiers

The Ukrainian ground robotic equipment Droid TW-7.62 captured three russian soldiers. In this video (LINK)), you can see how this moment was captured by the video camera of a combat robotic vehicle.
This is what modern war looks like: robots are on the front lines, people are safe.

Droid TW-7.62 is a reconnaissance and strike ground robotic complex armed with a machine gun. Thanks to its built-in modern equipment, the provides high accuracy and fire efficiency. It is equipped with elements of artificial intelligence for autonomous detection, capture and tracking of targets.

Combat robotic vehicles are playing an increasingly important role on the battlefield, performing logistical, evacuation and combat missions. The Ukrainian army has unique experience in the practical application of such complexes, which no other army has.

Hello, this is news about the ukrainian-russian war and a review of important international events.

The long road to peace

The first round of trilateral peace talks involving Ukraine, the US and russia, which took place the other day in Abu Dhabi - the capital of the United Arab Emirates, were assessed with restrained positiveness.

However, the most optimism was expressed by American mediators. The Ukrainian leadership is more restrained in its assessments. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the negotiations in Abu Dhabi, said that there are still a lot of problematic issues - but there have been fewer.

Finally, the spokesmen of the aggressor state assess positively only the fact of the negotiations themselves. Let us recall that russia continues to encroach on Ukrainian territories that it has not been able to capture in almost four years of war and refuses to make peace without this.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Ukrainian president noted that “the deepest line of conflict between russia and Ukraine and all of Europe is that russia is fighting for people to be insignificant – for the fact that when dictators want to destroy someone, they can do it. But they should be losing power, not gaining it.”

Fighting on the front continues. Unable to break through the Ukrainian defenses, the russians continue to shell the infrastructure of peaceful Ukrainian cities, trying to leave the civilian population without heat and light in the cold winter weather. Now they are trying to drive Ukrainian civilians into a cold death.

Ukrainian soldiers demonstrate courage and high skill in defending their homeland. They call on foreign volunteers to join their ranks.

Ukraine is getting closer to the EU

Finally, the best news of recent days is Ukraine's further integration into the European Union. Ukraine should join the EU by 2030. This was stated by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda at a joint press conference with the presidents of Ukraine and Poland.

According to him, this is Lithuania's strategic interest, because Ukraine's membership in the EU will greatly contribute to the stability and security of the entire large region of Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. Therefore, Lithuania will make the most of its presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2027 to implement this plan.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that it is important for Ukraine to stipulate the date of its accession to the EU in the agreement on the end of the war in order to receive clear security guarantees and avoid blocking the accession.

Currently, the current head of the Hungarian government, Viktor Orban, is against Ukraine's accession to the EU, but the European Commission - a kind of government of a united Europe - previously stated that they were looking for a way. How to bypass or overcome a possible Hungarian veto. After all, Europe is increasingly understanding that an experienced and hardened Ukrainian army can become the basis of the continent's defense against the encroachments of russian imperialism.

Instead, the Ukrainian president called on Europe to take more decisive action in the field of defense and to create a united European armed forces and not to rely on NATO. But no one has seen the Alliance in action. “Europe likes to discuss the future, but it avoids action today – action that determines what our future will be. And that is the problem,” he noted, speaking in Davos.

This is a review of important news from the russian-ukrainian war. We tell you how Ukraine defends itself from russian aggression.

Ukraine will strengthen its air defense

Ukraine will receive reinforcements for its air defense. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky following his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he met with US President Donald Trump.

This is especially important for Ukraine now, since russia is trying to destroy the infrastructure of peaceful Ukrainian cities with air strikes and leave Ukrainians without heat and energy supply in cold weather.

France hunted down a russian tanker

The French Navy detained an oil tanker in the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea, which was heading from russia. French President Emmanuel Macron noted in this regard that the tanker is subject to international sanctions and is suspected of using a false flag.

He also noted that allied states have joined the operation.

"We are determined to comply with international law and ensure the effective implementation of sanctions," the French president said.

The French head of state also stressed that the activities of the shadow fleet contribute to the financing of russia's aggressive war against Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine has repeatedly called on Europeans to take more decisive action against the russian shadow fleet. According to him, Europe is doing a lot to support Ukraine, but so far it has not managed to stop the russian shadow fleet and limit the ways to circumvent sanctions. He cites the actions of the United States, whose naval forces and the US Coast Guard have already detained seven shadow fleet tankers that were used to circumvent sanctions.

The sanctions list, which was recently published by Switzerland, includes more than forty russian tankers.

The invaders are hitting their own

It is striking not only the cruelty, but also the negligence with which the russians are fighting. In the bitter cold, the russians tried to destroy the infrastructure of Ukrainian cities and leave them without heat supply. But at the same time, the negligent russian military attacked not only Ukrainian cities, but also the russian city of Belgorod itself, which is located near the Ukrainian border, approximately 40 km away.

These days, the russian authorities had to evacuate approximately 1,700 residents of this city due to the dropping of a russian 500-kilogram air bomb on it. And in December last year, russian aircraft dropped a bomb near the power plant that supplies Belgorod. As a result, the city and surrounding villages were left without power supply.

Also these days, a russian air defense missile destroyed a multi-story residential building in the russian village of Novaya Adygeya.

In total, since February 2022, the moment of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the russians have dropped more than 300 aerial bombs on their own cities and villages and on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

This is a review of important news of the russian-ukrainian war. We tell you how Ukraine defends itself from russian aggression.

Ukrainian drones destroy russian aviation and fleet

The last month of last year turned out to be very successful for Ukrainian drone operators in terms of destroying expensive russian equipment. In particular, in December 2025, Ukrainian drones successfully hit seven russian military aircraft of various types and purposes at enemy airfields. And another russian aircraft crashed, so to speak, on its own initiative, performing the first flight after repair.

It is interesting to note that more than half of these aircraft were destroyed at the airfields of the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea occupied by the russians. Here, too, the russian air defense system suffered significant losses under drone strikes. It is clear that the russians, although temporarily occupying Ukrainian land, do not control the sky over it.

In addition, a Ukrainian underwater drone in the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk hit a russian submarine, and in the Caspian Sea, Ukrainian strike drones successfully attacked a russian patrol ship.

Great Britain strengthens Ukrainian defense

Ukraine and the United Kingdom are stepping up their defense cooperation. The defense ministers of both countries signed an agreement to develop a defense alliance in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

The United Kingdom has joined in to strengthen Ukraine's air defenses. In January, it began joint production of Octopus interceptor drones, which proves effective against Russian drones. Starting in February, Ukraine will receive 1,000 Octopus drones monthly.

The United Kingdom has also announced a project to develop ballistic missiles for Ukraine with a range of over 500 kilometers and a 200 kg warhead. These missiles can be launched from various vehicles, facilitating their mobilization. This will allow launches against enemy targets while avoiding being hit. While the Russians are targeting civilian targets in Ukrainian cities, Britain intends to provide the Ukrainians with more advanced weapons for defense, British officials say.

Military education strengthened by experience

Experts from NATO member states conducted an in-depth audit of the Ukrainian system of professional military education and concluded that Ukraine, despite the challenges of a full-scale war, has made significant progress in developing military education and bringing it closer to Alliance standards. Among the main achievements, they named the creation of a multi-level education system for officers and the reform of education for sergeants, deepening the study of foreign languages. It was also noted that Ukrainian higher military education is successfully integrating with European education.

Ukrainian military personnel have unique experience in conducting modern warfare. They demonstrate courage and high skill in defending the homeland. Ukrainian soldiers call on foreign volunteers to join their ranks and are ready to share with them the most modern military experience.

Ground robotic complexes are playing an increasingly important role - both on the battlefield and in logistics and evacuation from the combat zone. Ukraine is developing this new weapon at a rapid pace. And the advantage in ground drones, among other things, allows Ukrainian soldiers to deter a more numerous enemy.

And the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex offers the Defense Forces of Ukraine all new models of ground drones for various purposes. The other day, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine allowed new models of ground drones to be put into operation.

In particular, this is the Zmiy strike and reconnaissance ground robotic complex, which is designed to perform a wide range of tasks in conditions of high-intensity combat operations. Armed with a large-caliber machine gun, the ground drone has high cross-country ability, can overcome difficult off-road conditions, sand, snow, and shallow water obstacles. The platform body is armored, has protection against anti-personnel mines and can withstand hits from several FPV drones.

Somewhat earlier, Ukrainian manufacturers successfully completed work on the Droid NW 40 ground robotic complex and presented it to the military department. Droid NW 40 is a reconnaissance and strike ground robotic complex armed with an automatic grenade launcher and a set of 48 grenades. It is capable of effectively hitting lightly armored targets and enemy manpower at a distance of up to 1.5 km. The mobility of the complex allows it to cover up to 50 km on paved roads and up to 40 km off-road on a single battery charge. The duration of movement without interruption reaches 12 hours, and autonomous work without movement can last up to 120 hours.

This is also a heavy ground robotic complex "T-700 Browning" designed to perform fire missions in a combat zone, and can also be used for logistics. It has double armor and is armed with two machine guns, one of which is large-caliber and can effectively hit enemy targets at a distance of up to 1 kilometer. The range of this robotic vehicle is up to 70 km, the maximum payload is 700 kg.

Also, these days, Ukrainian manufacturers announced the development of a new ground robotic complex armed with a small-caliber cannon. In fact, we are talking about a ground drone that will be a light tank! The new system will be designed to perform assault missions and cover infantry on the front line. It will be able to effectively fight at a distance of up to 4-5 kilometers.

In addition, the production of improved models of evacuation ground drones is being launched. After successful testing in the combat zone, “Maul” ground evacuation drones were launched into serial production. In the combat zone, the drone was hit by an anti-personnel mine and a drone, but continued to move, and thanks to the armored capsule, the wounded man did not suffer new injuries.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully counterattacked the russian invaders in the area of the city of Kupyansk. They liberated part of the city and two nearby villages from the occupiers, and surrounded several hundred russian soldiers in one of the neighborhoods. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky came to Kupyansk to thank the soldiers and filmed a video at the entrance to the city, just over a kilometer from the front line.

This happened less than a month after russian General Kuzovlev reported to his boss Putin that russian troops had captured Kupyansk. putin specifically asked if his soldiers had completely captured the city and soon even awarded the general.

In return, the Ukrainian military claimed that the russians were wishing for it. As a result, Kupyansk became a trap for several hundred russians. Unlike Zelensky, putin did not dare to come to the supposedly captured city. Ukrainian soldiers demonstrate a high level of courage and professionalism in defending their homeland and call on foreign volunteers to join their ranks.

The Security Service and the Naval Forces of Ukraine conducted another unique special operation. For the first time in history, a russian submarine of the Varshavyanka class was hit by a strike by underwater drones “Sub Sea Baby”. On board it were four launchers of “Caliber” cruise missiles, which the enemy uses to strike the territory of Ukraine.

This happened in the russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk. There, russian warships fled there from a base in the temporarily occupied Crimea. But here too, Ukrainian weapons got them!

The cost of a Varshavyanka class submarine is about $ 400 million, and given the international sanctions imposed, the construction of such a submarine costs up to $ 500 million. This class of submarines is also known for the ability of the hull to absorb sounds and remain invisible to radars.

This is not the first unique military operation of Ukrainians at sea. Earlier, also for the first time in history, missiles launched from Ukrainian naval drones shot down a russian military plane and helicopter.

Ukrainian soldiers demonstrate courage and high skill in defending their homeland and call on foreign volunteers to join their ranks.

Drones - unmanned aerial vehicles - are playing an increasingly important role in modern warfare. In view of this, last year a separate branch of the Ukrainian army was created - the forces of unmanned systems. Today, approximately a third of the losses of the russian invaders are caused precisely by strikes by Ukrainian fighters of the forces of unmanned systems.

In the first 10 days of December, the Ukrainian Forces of Unmanned Systems hit more than 10 thousand various types of enemy targets. In particular, during this period they eliminated or wounded almost 3,900 russian occupiers. In addition, the other day, long-range drone strikes disabled a large russian oil refinery, which is located more than 900 km from the front line, as well as a large chemical plant producing explosives, located more than 800 km away.

Drone units are present in many units of the Ukrainian army. These days, in the battles for the city of Pokrovsk, Ukrainians defeated a column of russian troops with a combined strike of drones and artillery.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to demonstrate determination and a high level of training in the defense of the homeland and call on foreign volunteers to join their ranks.

Ground robotic complexes are increasingly being used to supply troops, evacuate the wounded, and perform combat missions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

In the Rubizh National Guard brigade, which is fighting in the Pokrovsk area, ground robotic complexes have delivered 7,120 kg of cargo and evacuated 21 wounded over the past month. And in the Third Assault Brigade, 147 wounded soldiers were evacuated this year with the help of ground robots. As stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Syrsky, “ground robotic complexes have a great future. We are developing this direction, introducing new models. We are applying advanced solutions and approaches to evacuating the wounded.”

But robotic machines are increasingly performing combat missions. The other day, a combat robot of the 5th Assault Brigade armed with a large-caliber machine gun destroyed a russian armored vehicle. And earlier, a combat robot of the 3rd assault brigade, armed with a machine gun, held an infantry position for a month and a half, which was attacked by enemy soldiers. As a result, the enemy was unable to break through in this area.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to demonstrate determination and high skill in the defense of the homeland and call on foreign volunteers to join their ranks.
